Come back with me, to Preston's Christmas Past.
The joy that lives within the festive season is brought to life from the caring, sharing times of Preston past. Whilst 'Father Time' moves on the memories increase and those that have been blessed by seasonal warmth recall with fondness those happy days.
Many was the Christmas lived out in strife and poverty, but even then the festive spirit lifted those who lived within the ancient borough.
A 'White Christmas' or even those that glistened with frost were few and far between, yet memories from those seem more acute.
Christmas trees, candles too, the holly bough, the mistletoe all customs etc, etc
